What will your typical day look like?
This specialist International Tax opportunity utilises our global tax network and serves our firms largest and most complex clients. You will focus on high quality, value adding tax advisory work. This is an exciting opportunity for a Manager looking to specialise and build a successful career in International Tax.

Becoming a subject matter expert, you will have many opportunities to advise on complex multi-jurisdictional projects and assignments. With strong growth in our group and numerous changes in the global tax environment, you'll take ownership and drive change. You will advise large multinationals and investment funds on domestic and cross-border transactions, including Australian inbound investment and outbound investments across Asia, Europe, and the Americas. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering complex tax advice on cross-border M&A, corporate restructures, global value chains and ATO reviews, including issues such as tax treaties, CFC rules, hybrids, tax consolidation, CGT and financing
  • Project management and delivery of multiple client engagements, including, identification of issues and opportunities, research and preparation of advice
  • Financial management of engagements, including assisting with proposals, budgeting, billing and controlling of work in progress
  • Building and managing trusted client relationships through exceptional client service
  • Quality control on assignments and projects
  • Coaching and mentoring of our high performing and passionate team

You are someone with:

  • 5+ years' experience within another professional services environment or top-tier legal firm
  • Exposure to multinational companies, private equity or ASX 250 listed firms is preferable
  • Degree qualified in Commerce and/or Law is preferred
