About the role

This role will report direct to the business owners, being responsible for payroll processing, generation of client invoicing and associated finance functions of our business. In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring all payroll and invoicing transactions are processed efficiently and accurately according to policies and procedures.
  • Carrying out "checks & balances" reports
  • Payroll and Invoicing amendments/discrepancies
  • Collecting, calculating, and entering data in order to maintain and update accurate payroll & invoicing information
  • Maintaining required registers and reports
  • Assisting to follow up on debtors.

About you:

  • Strong head for numbers with a high degree of accuracy
  • Clear communication skills to answer employee and client queries
  • Highly adept at using computer software to do accounting, time-tracking and human resource management
  • Great attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • An exceptional degree of professionalism and discretion is required
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Passionate and values-based with a mindset on client and employee satisfaction
  • Able to acquire an unblemished Federal Police Check

Skills and experience

Experience with a range of Microsoft Office products

Experience with accounting packages such as QuickBooks and Reckon

Previous experience in an administration role
