This Government agency is seeking an experienced IT Auditor to join the team on a 3 months contract role.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with financial audit and performance audit teams to understand and incorporate their requirements into the annual IT audit work plan
• Manage IT audit engagements in financial audit and performance audit by guiding and mentoring a team of analysts
• Collaborate with other business areas such as audit quality to ensure appropriate level of resource and support is provided to deliver audit engagements
• Provide advice to performance audit, financial audit, other business areas and corporate services on relevant IT audit related matters/trends/issues
• Present findings, evidence and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner

Required

• 3 years or more experience working within the IT audit (external/internal audit)
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or similar relevant professional certification
• Strong communication skills
• Familiarity with ERPs such as SAP, Oracle E-Business, People Soft and other systems used throughout the Victorian Public Sector would be advantageous
• Experience with team leading audits of financial reports would be desirable
