The Hypar Group is looking for a Junior Accountant to be based in our North Lakes office.

Reporting through to the Company Accountant, this position plays an integral role in supporting the overall finance and payroll process as well as working closely with all departments within the organisation to achieve this. 

We are seeking someone with a positive attitude, strong work ethic with high attention to detail which are all essential for the success of this position. A willingness to learn and adapt to tasks. Strong verbal and written communication skills, someone who takes initiative and operates with integrity, as well as having superb time management and organisation skills and is able to work both independently and collaboratively across the Finance function.

A can-do attitude, combined with the following criteria:

• Degree qualified
• Minimum 2-3 years experience in a junior/Assistant Accountant role capacity
• Advanced Excel skills
• Outstanding attention to detail and reconciliation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience with medium to large enterprise
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a productive team member
• Willing to learn, assist and be able to see tasks through at varying levels
• Highly desirable would be experience working within the social services, community or human services sector.
