Junior Auditor

About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Junior Auditor to join our growing team. Based in the Northern Suburbs of Brisbane, the full-time role is well suited to a motivated professional with an optimistic personality. 

Working alongside an experienced team, you will utilise your strong communication skills to build long lasting staff and client relationships. Enjoy complex and challenging work, and build on your tertiary education.

The duties that you perform will be based on your level of experience, however will include:

• Assist with the planning and completion of external audit engagements
• Financial report preparation
• Completion and management of audit assignments whilst meeting client deadlines
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and attend client meetings.

Skills and experience

• Bachelor of Business, Accounting or Commerce 
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Demonstrated understanding of accounting principles and standards
• Strong time-management skills
• Commenced or working towards commencement of CA/CPA
• Knowledge of Microsoft software including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Experience in accounting software packages including desired such as: CaseWare, QuickBooks, Xero and MYOB
• Demonstrated professionalism, including exercising confidentiality and discretion
