The Opportunity

Our client is an award-winning boutique accounting firm based at the Southern end of the Gold Coast. They are a young team with a modern approach to bookkeeping and accounting. They have a great team culture and a focus on providing exceptional client services.

Our client is continuing to experience growth in their client base and are therefore seeking a Senior Accountant or Junior Client Manager to join their team. You will be doing combined role of compliance, advisory and supervisory work.

The Duties
As a Junior Client Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Training and Developing Junior staff members
• Workflow management and review work
• Meeting with clients and managing the client relationship
• Preparing tax returns and financial statements for all entity structures
• Div7a, CGT, FBT, Payroll tax and other tax calculations
• Assisting the Directors of the firm

About You
Our client is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic accountant to join their team. To be successful for the role, you will:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Completed of close to completion of CA/CPA studies
• 4-6 years’ experience in Public Practice Accounting
• Experience using Xero and BGL 360
• Strong technical client skills and ability to communicate with clients
