About the Opportunity

Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology now has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Laboratory Assistant - Biochemistry to work from their Bowen Hills laboratory in Brisbane. 

This role will involve sample sorting and processing in the pre-analytical area of the laboratory.

Some of the more specific responsibilities of the position will include:

• Specimen reception and sorting;
• Preparing samples for analysis, including loading to the laboratory track automation system;
• Assisting the scientific staff with automated instruments;
• General laboratory duties as required; and
• Maintaining an organised and efficient work environment.

The rotating roster involves shifts over a 24 hour period, along with weekend shifts and public holidays when fully trained.
