The Job

In this versatile Financial Analyst role, will be mainly responsible for the following duties:

• Maintaining the lease accounting system
• Coordinating and managing the lease accounting monthly processes and using data analytics to interpret differences between data sets
• Preparing of budget and forecast data which must be compliant with the accounting standards and internal guidelines
• Creating briefs to clearly articulate new concepts, methodologies and instructions
• Reviewing monthly financial reports to ensure accuracy
• Working closely with stakeholders to explain movements in accounting entries due to lease events and resulting impact on budgets and forecasts
• Using business intelligence tools to manage financial data and reviewing of financial models

You

To be successful in this role, you must have experience in the following areas:

• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar Lease Accounting/Financial Analyst role
• Proven experience in evaluating and transforming complex information into usable data sets
• Exposure to AASB16 Lease Accounting principles in a must
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills
• Previous experience maintaining a property leasing portfolio is highly advantageous
• NSW Government experience is beneficial
