Job Description

We are seeking an outstanding Management Accountant to join our Coolangatta team. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Finance team and have exposure to working with all levels of management. The ideal candidate will be confident and self-motivated, a critical thinker, with an eagerness to continue developing their skills.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Management accounts reporting – monthly, quarterly and year-end
• Preparation of monthly P&L and Rolling Forecasts
• Preparation of year-end budget
• Financial analysis and review of KPI’s to identify trends and opportunities in the business 
• Partner with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll functions
• Preparation of workforce planning schedules
• Liaise with external auditors as part of year-end audit
• Banking and Treasury function
• Compliance and statutory returns

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Relevant Professional Accounting Qualification – preferred but not required
• Prior experience in a Financial hands-on role with a “sleeves rolled up” approach
• Advanced excel skills – required. Power BI or other business analytics systems experience desirable
• Exceptional skill in analysing financial performance and provision of financial, accounting and commercial advice for all levels of management
• Prior experience and an interest in designing & improving existing analysis tools, systems and processes
• Confident communicating with all levels of staff - via email, phone and online meetings

This is a full time position and may require you to travel.
