Management Accountant

About the role:

A new opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic, hard-working and motivated individual to join our Finance Team on a fixed term contract on a full time basis to cover Maternity Leave till the end of May 2022. The successful candidate will have a broad range of duties including:

• Produce the month-end management accounts and group reporting
• Systems help support and application development
• Oversee transactional AP processing accounts payable & payroll as performed by the finance administration team
• Oversee compliance duties, in particular preparation of BAS returns domestic and foreign
• Treasury reporting of cash position & forecast, foreign exchange forecasts
• Adopt a continuous improvement approach
• ·Any other tasks deemed necessary by management to perform your role

The successful candidate will have the following qualities:

• Degree Qualified in accounting CPA or CA qualification (or in the process of being completed)
• Experience in a similar accounting role
• A keen interest in systems and improvement
• Previous experience with Microsoft NAV preferred (but not essential)
• Ability to take direction and work as part of a team
• Competent in Microsoft computer packages, primarily Excel
• Highly organised, attention to detail and ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
