Management Accountant
The organisation
Mars are currently working on an exceptional opportunity for an management accountant/analyst to take on a key partnering role and drive business improvements.
This is a newly created position within an established team that promote good tenure as they have a fantastic culture and offer genuine work life balance.
The successful candidate will be offered an initial 12 month contract and require someone to start immediately.
The opportunity
Reporting directly to the finance manager, below are some of the duties you will be responsible for:
- P&L preparation and analysis
- Preparation of monthly reports identifying and reporting on key findings to internal and external stakeholders
- Be the key point of contact for business unit managers in all monthly reporting matters
- Partner with key internal stakeholders to offer solutions to enhance financial performance
- Create accurate journal entries as required
- Detailed financial analysis to ensure the business meets organisational objectives
- Provide analysis and insights on site performance
- Analyse strategic and operational plans
- Develop revenue, expenditure and capital investment plans
- Build agreement for budgets/forecasts and financial plans
- Ad hoc work as necessary
The Requirements
- CA/CPA qualified or studying towards
- 3-4 years' experience as a management accountant/analyst
- Large ERP system experience
- Advanced Excel/ modelling is essential for the role
- Proven business partnering and process improvement experience
- MUST BE AVAILABLE ON SHORT NOTICE
