We are seeking an exceptional, highly professional Payroll Analyst, to step into this newly created role. This career defining role will require you to perform at the highest standard, in a role integral to the wider success, reputation and integrity of the school. You will drive the commitment to payroll compliance and efficiencies by creating new frameworks and policies.

About the role:
 Strategically plan and implement a streamlining and cohesiveness of payroll, risk and compliance frameworks

  • Identification of potential risks or compliance issues and create policies to practically support and manage risk
  • Cultivate a tangible awareness of and commitment to payroll compliance and analysis
  • Maintain inhouse systems and regularly review relevant requirements/legislative changes
  • Develop solid working relationships with internal stakeholders as well as external stakeholders, including industry bodies

 About you:

  •  Proven experience of payroll operations and management, Chris21 experience is highly regarded but not essential
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills; the intrinsic ability to build rapport with people from all walks of life and at any level
  • Solid understanding of legislative requirements in regards to Payroll 
  • Have a flexible, fluid approach to work; be resilient in the face of deadlines and changing priorities
  • Be self-directed and manage your time and work-load whilst being solution focused
  • Ideally be from an education background
  • The ability to develop and retain effective working relationships
  • Advanced technical skills; you will be a proven advanced user of the MS Office suite,  and will have proven experience of working with online reporting systems
  • A professional, diligent approach and an unwavering commitment to delivering the best
  • To be considered for this role you must be able to obtain a Working With Children Check

This role is located in Kew, Melbourne – parking is available.  This is a full time role, with some offered flexibility around working hours. This is a 12 Month Fixed Term contact.
