Based in Kelvin Grove, we are a busy and successful electrical contracting and audio-visual company servicing the Brisbane region since 2008.  Our work encompasses residential and commercial construction projects, plus service and maintenance.

The Position:

We have a permanent part-time position available for an experienced Accounts Administrator. 
The position will suit a diligent and efficient person with confidence in their own abilities to achieve set outcomes.
Approximately 15 hours per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. 
Daily start and finish times are flexible within our normal office hours (7am-4pm).

Key Roles:

  • Processing weekly timesheets and preparation of payroll
  • Accounts receivable – preparation and entry of invoices, and calculation of costings
  • Following up outstanding accounts
  • Accounts payable – processing bills, data entry and payment of supplier accounts
  • Assistance with weekly bank account reconciliation, and end of month reconciliation
  • Answering phone calls and emails regarding invoice/accounts enquiries.
  • Maintenance of Excel project summary reports
  • Weekly and monthly KPI reporting
  • Back-up support for other administration staff, and other ad-hoc tasks as required

Skills and Experience Required:

A minimum of three years relevant experience.
Strong administration, time management and organisational skills, with initiative to work outside of the role description when necessary.
Ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated is essential, as is a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent computer skills - you must have experience using Xero accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Professional telephone manner.
Experience using job management software is advantageous (we use AroFlo).
