The Business
Kids in Care is a management team with extensive years of experience operating child care services across Australia. We require an experienced Payroll Assistant to support our Payroll Manager. This is a newly created, full time position at our Robina office.
The Person
- Professionally mannered with good written and verbal communication skills
- Willing to learn with a positive approach to tasks
- Shows initiative and is resourceful
- Detail oriented
- Uphold confidentiality of sensitive staff information
The Responsibilities
- Assist with fortnightly pay processing and reporting
- Import timesheets into Attache and review prior to processing
- Processing of paid parental leave and other deductions
- Full onboarding procedure
- Payroll queries from Centre Directors and other staff via phone and email
- Process changes as needed for staff information - superannuation, bank accounts, deductions and other personal details
- Other tasks as required by Payroll Manager
The Skills and Experience – demonstrated
- Minimum 12 months experience in a similar role
- Advanced Skills in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
- Exceptional communication both written and verbal
- Highly developed organisational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability in handling sensitive information
- Experience with Attache highly desirable but not essential
