The Business

Kids in Care is a management team with extensive years of experience operating child care services across Australia. We require an experienced Payroll Assistant to support our Payroll Manager. This is a newly created, full time position at our Robina office.

 

The Person

  • Professionally mannered with good written and verbal communication skills
  • Willing to learn with a positive approach to tasks
  • Shows initiative and is resourceful
  • Detail oriented
  • Uphold confidentiality of sensitive staff information

 

The Responsibilities

  • Assist with fortnightly  pay processing and reporting
  • Import timesheets into Attache and review prior to processing
  • Processing of paid parental leave and other deductions
  • Full onboarding procedure
  • Payroll queries from Centre Directors and other staff via phone and email
  • Process changes as needed for staff information - superannuation, bank accounts, deductions and other personal details
  • Other tasks as required by Payroll Manager

 

The Skills and Experience – demonstrated 

  • Minimum 12 months experience in a similar role
  • Advanced Skills in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
  • Exceptional communication both written and verbal
  • Highly developed organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability in handling sensitive information
  • Experience with Attache highly desirable but not essential
