Bamara currently operates in NSW, Queensland and the Northern Terriotry and currently employ above 50 staff in several different programs.

 

About the Role

Bamara is moving towards bringing its payroll operations in house and subseqently we will require an experienced and knowledgebale payroll person to handle the processing of our fortnighly payroll.

This will be a  Casual role of  8 -15 hours per week .

Initally the role will be working in conjunction with the People and Culture Officer and ELMO implematon consultant  to assist with data entry to  build the new payroll system.

From July onwards the system will go live and the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the processing of  payroll transactions, accruate data entry and keeping abrest of all applicable awards and by ensuring that these are interpruted correctly and updated as required. 

The successful candidate will also be reponsible for answering queries from staff in realtion to their Wages, and Leave requests.

The Successful candidate will also provide assistance to the People and Culture Officer to add new staff details into our new  HR system.

Knowledge and Experience Required

Previous payroll processing experience

Ability to interpret and understand awards 

Undertsanding of basic superanuation and taxation principles.

Understanding of Staff Leave principles and policys
