We are looking for the Superstar for the Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeping role! The lucky individual will get to work with a small and cozy team of 3 very friendly professionals at the head office location in South Melbourne. The dynamic and friendly team who are all working for an established early Childhood company looking to make a greater impact on the little learner's lives! Moreover, the Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper will also get to work with the managing director as well, what a great way to learn and grow!! Very Exciting Times! This is a part-time 4 day a week position with the potential of future increase in hours. If you are looking for work-life balance and enjoy working in a small team dedicated to supporting the early childhood centres, or are looking for a part time role for a professional workplace....or both, this could be the role for you!

Skills and Responsibilities 
  • Understanding of how to organise and file paperwork
  • Basic understanding of how to electronically archive, scan and send faxes
  • Support with general assistance with external staff at the childcare centres
  • Set up new employee onto Employment Hero 
  • Basic use of the audit system (Employment Hero, Tanda and Xero)
  • Confident in answering emails and phone calls  
  • Check and verify source documents such as invoices, receipts, reconcile bills to statements  
  • Experience with reviewing and processing payroll (preferably Xero or MYOB experience).
TO QUALIFY
  • MUST have strong experience with payroll at least 2 year
  • Experience in Zero software or similar
  • Take initiative and be well organised
  • A proactive approach to learning
  • Have attention to detail is Crucial
  • Great phone communication skills
