Payroll Officer

Full time | 38 hours per week

Continuing | Immediate start 

$66,491 - $69,726 | AO 5

Toowoomba Catholic Schools (TCS) is a system of 31 primary, secondary, and P-12 schools located in Toowoomba, and across the Darling Downs and South West Queensland.

The Role

This is an exciting time to be joining our organisation. This role presents an opportunity to contribute to enhancing payroll services across the Diocese of Toowoomba Catholic Schools. 

To be suitable for this role, you will need to demonstrate the following work related requirements:

  • experience with iChris or Chris21
  • strong knowledge, skill and experience with the Office 365 suite of products, in particular, Microsoft Excel 
  • proven understanding of all areas of payroll services, current payroll legislation, tax and superannuation
  • knowledge of award interpretation and understanding of employment legislation
  • proven track record and experience in running end to end payroll processes
  • attention to detail and accuracy
  • problem solving and organisational skills
