McMullen Nolan Group (MNG), was formed in 1989 to provide alternative survey services in the land development industry. Since the company's inception MNG has been dedicated to providing personalised and innovative spatial solutions to both the Land Development and Engineering & Infrastructure sectors across Australia.

Today, our core business activities focus upon the provision of survey services to larger scale greenfields subdivision clients who have a dominant share of the Land Development market. Combined with our award winning laser scanning technologies, primarily focused upon the Engineering and Infrastructure market, MNG is one of the pre-eminent survey businesses in Australia.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Officer to join our Finance team on a part-time basis, 24 hours per week located at our Jandakot Office.   

The Role is permanent part time and is responsible for end to end fortnight payroll and end of month processes, including but not limited to:

• Ensuring all payroll transactions are processed efficiently;
• Assessing timesheet entries, providing advice on correct claims for payments according to the applicable industrial instrument and legislation;
• Processing data to maintain up to date payroll information;
• Processing of superannuation guarantee;
• Compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave etc.;
• Annualised salary reconciliations;
• Determining payroll liabilities;
• Reconciliation of report obligations and general ledger accounts
• Resolving payroll discrepancies;
• Maintaining payroll operations by following policies and procedures;
• Development of financial and operational reporting including end of month reconciliation.

The Person we are seeking will be a highly motivated individual with a minimum of two years payroll processing experience, with a high attention to detail, excellent communication skills and ability to contribute to the team in a positive and proactive manner. Whilst not essential experience with Sage Micropay is desirable.
