Located within the city, where there is an abundance of boutique cafes and parking, they are currently on the lookout for a bright, enthusiastic payroll person to join their friendly team. 

About your role

Reporting directly to the HR Manager and working closely with Finance, some of your key responsibilities are:

• End to end payroll processing for approximately 200+ employees. 
• Interpretation of various modern awards.
• Managing payroll enquiries and discrepancies.
• Calculation of leave entitlements and long service leave provisions.
• Undertake Payroll and PAYG reconciliations and journals.

About your profile

The successful candidate is an up and coming payroll / office professional who has a knack of learning new processes/ systems. You are a self-starter who loves to problem-solve, investigative in nature and has a great level of attention to detail. 

Ideally, you are able to utilize your payroll knowledge, willing to go the extra mile to invest in your career development, have a proactive attitude and a confident/ strong communicator.
