Queensland Rail has two opportunities for focused Payroll Officers to join our friendly Financial Control team. Through hands on experience and ongoing training you will be given the skills to contribute to the provision of employee entitlements including wages and salaries.
Using your positive attitude and excellent communication skills you will ensure a positive customer experience for internal stakeholders. You will be required to provide informed, accurate advice to educate customers on their entitlements, financial policies and certified agreements. This role will also require a high level of administrative skills to ensure processes are completed with a high degree of accuracy.

With ongoing career development to support your professional growth, this position would suit a graduate looking for their first step into payroll or finance. A HR or Finance Related degree and experience with either SAP RC and/ or SuccessFactors will be highly regarded.
This role may require some outside of hours work given the cyclical nature of this function, at times this may allow for flexible working arrangements. The Financial Control team are seeking both a fixed term and a permanent employee to join us. The annual salary for both roles is $82,822.00 + Superannuation + free rail travel to and from work.
