A growing manufacturing business with headquarters located in Brisbane are looking for a Payroll Officer. This is initially a temporary position with potential to go permanent.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer to join a close knit team and get involved in a payroll system implementation. The successful candidate will take ownership of the payroll process; providing accurate, timely and efficient payroll services.

Responsibilities of the Payroll Officer:

• Accurate processing of end to end payroll
• Reconciliation of superannuation, long service leave, taxation
• Respond to internal and external queries in a positive and efficient manner
• Ad-hoc projects, continuous process improvement and development

Requirements of the Payroll Officer:

• At least 2 years experience in full function payroll
• Previous exposure to payroll system implementation
• Experience in using major payroll systems
• Demonstrated knowledge of awards and award interpretation
