Payroll Officer

• 1x 12 month contract (end June 2022)
• 1x 4 month contract (end June 2021)

UnitingCare is seeking several Payroll Officers to join the Brisbane CBD team on a contracts. Extensions to these contract periods are possible.

We are ideally seeking applicants with full time availability, and recent experience in using Aurion. Knowledge of Kronos would also be an advantage.

These roles will be focused on supporting end-to-end payroll activities across our organisations with core accountabilities including:

• Hands on day to day Payroll Processing while working in collaboration with wider payroll team;
• Ensuring high level payroll activities are met within strict timelines and schedules;
• Monitoring payroll inboxes and respond and action as required;
• Process payment/deduction requests.

About You:

With excellent communication, trouble-shooting and time management skills, you'll present with: 

• Recent experience with  Aurion 
• Experience working on large payrolls with over 1,000 employees;
• Minimum 2+ years payroll processing experience;
• Advanced understanding of payroll standards and legislation;

Recent exposure to Kronos Time and Attendance system would be advantageous also
