Little Company of Mary Health Care Ltd
Payroll Officer - Workers Compensation
About the role
Based in our Cardiff offices, this role facilitates the accurate calculation of weekly workers compensation payments, ensuring compliance with the applicable state legislation and local Enterprise Agreement. Working with key stakeholders across the organization, you will support local Return-To-Work Coordinators and Managers to ensure that the correct Leave Types and Pay Codes are entered into Kronos to capture when employees are unfit to work, working on restricted duties or when no suitable duties are available, in preparation for payments to be processed by the Payroll Services team on a fortnightly basis. Your strong communication skills and time management skills will be essential to work with insurers and local finance teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of all claims and reimbursements. For further information, please refer to the attached position description.
To be successful in this role you will have a working knowledge of workers compensation and payroll processes. Experience with injuryConnect, Kronos, and Chris21 will be highly regarded. This position is offered as a full-time 12 month contract, with the potential to be made permanent.
