Policy Specialist | EL1

Beaumont&Beaumont has been approached to recruit an Policy Officer (EL1) into a dynamic government Department. The role requires extensive research and analysis on information and training opportunities to provide and prepare for the implementation of new regulatory functions.
 
You will have:

• effective time management skills under limited supervision;
• the ability to work under pressure, producing quality products within tight time-frames;
• effective communication, and the ability to rapidly develop rapport with both internal and external stakeholders; and
• a high level of judgement, with the ability to recognise emerging issues and being comfortable to escalate matters when required

 
The successful candidate will have a high attention to detail with the ability to prioritise competing demands. They will also have excellent oral and written communication skills. The successful will also have previous experience working in government on policy development, research and contract management.
 
This role is offered on a 4 month contract, with the possibility of extension of up to 2 months.
