Our client is a large NSW government department that is undergoing a merger of operating divisions and undertaking process reviews around frameworks, systems and reporting/governance requirements.
Job Description
The Business / Process Analysts will work across the project as integral team members to facilitate Business Improvement objectives
The role entails mapping and documenting processes and providing project support services to provide input to the development of new/modified ways of working that support the implementation of major business and organisational change within the Finance and Investment Division.
Responsibilities include:
- Analyse and document processes to provide reliable and accurate input to the development of new and modified systems and processes.
- Coordinate inputs from a broad range of business entities to ensure that existing and proposed processes are accurately analysed and enable the development of effective new and revised processes.
- Prepare project timetables and calendars, develop and monitor project plans for major activities and coordinate a range of program support activities
- Documenting processes, administering training and education programs and acquiring resources to support the implementation of the transition process.
- Collate, extract and analyse information and present this information in a variety of formats to provide input to a wide range of reports, briefs and government advice.
The following requirements are essential:
- Minimum of 2 years Business Process Analyst experience
- Experience in finance frameworks and ERP / accounting systems (SAP FICO and BPC an advantage)
- Lean Six Sigma methodology knowledge an advantage
- Impeccable communications skills - written and verbal, experience in facilitating workshops
- Experience in mapping and documenting business process flows
- Advanced documentation skills with the ability to produce high quality written documentation
- Highly developed skills in computer literacy, particularly MS suite such as O365, Visio
- Confluence experience an advantage (not essential)
- Ability to achieve successful outcomes through collaborative and cooperative means
