Procurement Data Analyst

Reporting directly to the Foodbuy General Manager, we’re looking for an exceptional Procurement Data Analyst to provide sound commercial support, impacting business vision, strategies and financial modelling. This role requires someone who can engage with stakeholders at all levels and across a diverse portfolio of clients. You’ll be working in a friendly and supportive team environment and have exposure to all aspects of the business.

The Role:

• Delivering efficient end-to-end commercial support and advice across all portfolios
• Developing and maintaining commercial models to support business priorities
• Building of daily, weekly & monthly KPI’s and Metrics across all services
• Working closely with our Central Hub with Commercial & Finance Teams
• Incremental analysis and tracking of results in comparison to budgets
• Presentation of data to the business and clients where required
• Building presentations, using flow charts, tables, charts in clear, concise formatting
• Assisting with the planning and preparation of budgets, forecasts and strategic planning
• Identify and develop process improvements to increase efficiency within the team and the wider business

The Person:

Ideally you will be possesses a tertiary degree in Finance, Business or Accounting, with 2+ years’ experience as a Business Data Analyst in a corporate environment. You will also have:

• Experience in Procurement / Supply Chain organisation(s)
• Sound knowledge of economic principles of product pricing and costing
• Advanced Excel and Power Point
• Intermediate/Advanced Tableau, Power BI, SQL and Access development skills
• Experience in visualisation and interrogation of ‘big data’
• Extensive knowledge and experience of MS Office products, with advance Excel skills
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams
• Ability to read a Profit & Loss statement and knowledge of basic accounting practices
• Ability to support site based personnel on remote mine sites during regular site visits
• Ability to prioritise and manage conflicting deadlines
• Experience handling and analysing complex, high volume data with excellent attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and demonstrated facilitation skills
