Job description:

•    12-month Contract Opportunity 
•    National – Australia/New Zealand
•    Procurement Insight Manager (Technology and Operations)

 

The Role 
We are looking for someone who is passionate about creating meaningful insight from our procurement data.  You will have the ability to take supplier data from multiple sources, simplify and visualise it in ways that make it easy for our stakeholders to understand.  You will provide procurement insight that enables us to measure, analyse, assess and report on the performance of the Procurement function and expenditure with IAGs suppliers.  This includes ensuring the Procurement function supports the IAG strategy of driving operational simplification and scalability, customer satisfaction and organisational agility. 

 

Key Responsibilities
•    Define, implement and report on the performance measurement framework across the procurement end-to-end life cycle. Scope covers all 3rd party procurement expenditure across the IAG Group.
•    Develop monthly insight on procurement for incorporation into financial information packs for the GLT
•    Develop and maintain Procurement function savings delivery
•    Bench marking across the end-to-end procurement lifecycle against year on year progress and against better practice
•    Provide analysis for areas of improvement 
•    Development and maintenance of the procurement category taxonomy 
•    Provide reports and presentations to key stakeholders 
•    Engage with major stakeholders to understand requirements, drive compliance, and build mutually valuable relationships
•    Support governance by ensuring adherence to Group policies and that we manage risks within IAG’s Risk appetite. 

 

Skills & Experience
•    At least 5 years’ experience implementing procurement metrics to monitor and drive continuous improvement and value across the full procurement lifecycle
•    Advanced analytical and information presentation skills and experience working with Tableau
•    Experience in extracting data from financial management systems such as SAP
•    Strong governance and change management experience 
•    Ability to work collaboratively within a large company organisational structure
•    The capability to work collaboratively and effectively across functional teams in a fast-paced environment 
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills
•    It would be advantageous if you have had consulting experience (Big 4 preferred) as well as a background in procurement
