Procurement Officer

The Opportunity

Working in the procurement team you will join a group of passionate staff who are playing their part in making sure that we are here to deliver an exceptional learning experience for students.
  
On a typical day in this role you will:

• Review Requisitions and ensure compliance with Procurement Policy
• Offer assistance to colleagues regarding Procurement Policy / assistance with creation of requisitions
• Ensure Requisitions are approved in a timely manner
• Ensure Purchase Orders are created in a timely manner and sent to the vendor
• Follow up on outstanding purchase orders and overdue items notifying managers / key internal stakeholders of progress and/or delays in timely manner

This is a 4 month Fixed term contract with immediate start date, Sydney based.

Who are you?
To be successful in the Procurement Officer position you will have:

• Previous experience as procurement officer
• Experience with following Procurement Policy
• Experience in Accounts Payable function
• Excellent Attention to Detail
• A flexible, resourceful & supportive team player
