The Company:
This global infrastructure company with a main office based in St Leonards, is looking for a project accountant role for 12 months covering maternity leave.

The Role:

• Oversight and management of financial performance on infrastructure project
• Commercial oversight of contract requirements including forecasting
• Oversight of contract life-cycle including setting up jobs, POs and invoicing
• Contract obligations
• Support project finance team
• Financial guidance in relation to business development and growth strategies
• Understanding contract risks and mitigation strategies
• Monthly reporting including commentary
• Risk resolution
• Business partnering and providing financial solutions to business problems

• Must have 3 to 5 years of specific previous project accounting experience - ideally in infrastructure, construction, or development - with a large, complex organisation
• BST experience essential
• Ability to deal with challenging stakeholders
• Experience delivering on projects
• Excellent business partnering experience and communication skills
• Have exposure to an infrastructure or engineering background
