Project Manager- Marketing & Communications
Job description:
Investa’s Marketing and Communications function requires an efficient and highly organised individual to join the team, taking accountability for project management and coordination of marketing and communication projects, campaigns and deliverables. As the Senior Graphic and Digital Designer you will love to work with diverse stakeholders and are passionate about bringing all of the pieces of a project together and seeing the final output come to fruition.
You will set the team up for success by managing and tracking task progress using our dedicated Marketing campaign management tool, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and within scope, and supporting the team with administrative tasks. As a superior communicator you are a whiz at producing quality written material and would relish the opportunity to expand your knowledge and experience by contributing to a wide range of corporate collateral both within the marketing team and with other business units across the organisation. You will play a pivotal role in keeping the Marketing & Communications function on track, supporting our strategic goals and project delivery.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Project Management: Work with the broader Marketing and Communications team to set project criteria, agreeing plans, timelines, resources and outputs for each deliverable, and managing of each campaign delivery efficiently through WRIKE project management system.
Stakeholder management: Manage graphic design briefing process, working closely with internal design resource and communicating with key stakeholders to agree on the brief, timeline and revisions as required.
Communications: Run communication campaigns autonomously and the skills to create effective written content including newsletter articles, case studies, award submissions, annual reports and delivering upon investor reporting requirements.
Marketing: Support the development and execution of digital and printed collateral, coordinate and maintain new starter packs and co-ordinate merchandise.
Submissions: Co-ordinate content and design elements of new business submissions and proposals in conjunction with internal and external stakeholders, brief and manage design elements with Graphic Design solution as required, manage review process and meet deadlines.
Digital: Capability across all digital channels, supporting the digital team with the co-ordination and deployment of branded material and marketing content for social media, website and intranet.
Admin: Support the Innovation & Brand team by taking carriage of administration duties including facilitation of invoice payments, creditor management, budget reconciliation, travel coordination, event logistics, catering and other tasks as they arise.
What you will need to be successful:
Tertiary qualification in a communications or marketing related field
Minimum of five years’ experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Time management skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities at once.
An understanding of a project’s life cycle, including how to scope for success, deliver on time and on budget.
Certification in project management system such as Prince 2, Six Sigma or other recognised project management system would be highly regarded.
