Kristin School is looking for a hard-working team player to join our two very experienced Science Technicians and welcoming Science faculty for this term time role. Reporting to the Head of Faculty and Senior Science Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the practical and technical aspects of the science curriculum by preparing, maintaining, organising, managing, and distributing the resources required for a healthy, safe, and secure environment for practical experiments within the classroom.
This includes the appropriate management, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials to comply with the Hazardous Substances regulations.
Experience needed
This role requires someone who has experience with a laboratory and capable of being on their feet for a large proportion of the day. It is important you are knowledgeable about hazardous substances and passionate about health and safety practices and procedures.
The ideal candidate will:
You will need to be able to demonstrate commitment to Kristin's values and it would be advantageous for the person to have a chemical qualification.
