Senior Accountant

We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant, this role is full time and a 12-month fixed term contract, this role will be a mixture of working in Melbourne's CBD and the South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne, you also have the option to work from home 1 or 2 days a week. You will be working for a maintenance organisation.

About you:

You will have prior experience as a Senior Accountant, preferably for a large enterprise maintenance or manufacturing organisation. You will be involved in a D365 project for 2 different business units. My client is looking for someone who has prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics. You will be the 2IC to support the National Finance Manager within the business. Ideally you will also have prior experience with process improvements.

Requirements:

• Looking for someone who has previous job costing experience
• Must be able to meet timeframes on a month to month basis
• Ideally looking for someone who has been involved with a previous implementation of an ERP system
• Typical Accounting Duties (month end reports, reconciliations, preparation of accounts)
• Preparation and analysis of financial and operational statistical reporting
• Maintains documentation regarding finance processes and procedures
• Must have strong excel skills
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (Preferred would be D365)
