The Opportunity

Due to a parental leave cover, this is an excellent 10-month contract job opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant to contribute to the ongoing growth of this industry-leading organisation. Reporting into the Manager of Accounting & Finance, you will lead the Group's asset & capital reporting in compliance with audit requirements. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Prepare the group's financial reports including monthly management reports and statutory reporting
• Coordinate the group's capital expenditure management reporting
• Business partner with multiple business units to provide commercial support
• Maintain the group's fixed asset registers in accordance with accounting standards
• Support the implementation of various projects
• Contribute to the group's budgeting and forecasting activities and annual process
• Supervise and support junior staff
• Ad hoc tasks to support the team as required

About You

The ideal candidate will be an highly experienced accountant with extensive experience across financial reporting, budgeting & re-forecasting processes with prior experience working within a capital & asset intensive industry. In addition, you will have:

• Passion for your work & contributing to the team
• CA/CPA qualification (or equivalent)
• Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholder groups and executives
