Working as part of Deakin’s high performing Shared Services team, the Senior Accounts Payable Officer works collaboratively with the wider team to support the Accounts Payable Manager with daily operations and activities.
The purpose of the Senior Accounts Payable Officer role is to provide a high level of effective and efficient Accounts Payable (AP) services for the University within the Shared Services team. The role will be responsible for more complex responsibilities than the AP Officer role and requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure payments and query resolutions are consistently delivered to a high standard.
With Advanced MS Office skills, a high degree of confidence in MS Excel and analytical skills, will enable you to manage the role’s reporting and month end requirements with ease. The role will also be responsible for developing stakeholder relationships, focused on continuous improvement of processes and for coaching and supporting other members of the team.
