Senior Bookkeeper / Assistant Accountant
The Advantage Air Group whose head office is located in Canning Vale currently have a vacancy in our busy accounts department for an experienced Senior Bookkeeper / Assistant Accountant
The ideal person for this role will have a passion for accounts, enjoy being busy during the day, is a team player but can also work on their own and loves learning. You will be organized and show high attention to detail and be able to work under pressure to achieve deadlines and work full-time Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Daily processing of accounts payable invoices for inter-related companies
- Creditors payments including ad hoc payments
- Match delivery dockets to invoices prior to input
- Have understanding of General Ledger Coding
- Detailed Monthly Creditors Reconciliations
- Multiple foreign currency invoices & payments
- Bank Reconciliations
- Inventory Accounting
- Assist in the Month-end process
Requirements:
- Experience in Triumph software and/or ERP an advantage
- Strong Excel skills
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage
- 5 years hands on experience in a similar role
- Ability to work to deadlines
- High attention to detail
- Be organized, time efficient and be able to multi-task
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Professional telephone manner
Qualifications:
- Graduates welcome
- Minimum of Cert IV in Accounting
