Full Time – Based in Orewa

Figuration grows stronger communities by supporting SME’s with growth and success through accounting, bookkeeping and business consulting services.

This full time role gives a dynamic individual the opportunity to work in our Bookkeeping department, managing a portfolio of clients, offering high level bookkeeping support and services at various levels from data entry through to final month end processing and management/board reporting and analysis.

This is an extremely busy and varied role, we work in a very busy environment so this role will suite someone who thrives well under pressure, has exceptional attention to detail and high level time management skills.

Key responsibilities include:

• New client file clean-up
• Ledger and process design and implementation
• End-to-end bookkeeping duties (data entry, payables, receivables, reconciliations, GST etc)
• Budgets and Forecasting
• Full month end tasks
• Management/board reporting and analysis

Must Haves:

• Proven ability to manage multiple clients and multi task
• A high level of customer service skills
• Be extremely organised and passionate about what we/you do
• Be innovative and have the desire to continually learn and develop
• At least 3 years experience working with Xero accounting software, Excel and Office 365
• Proven senior level of bookkeeping knowledge, qualifications and experience (including month end reporting/analysis, budget preparation and forecasting)
• Be an exceptional team player and fantastic co-worker
• Excellent IT and software skills – able to learn new systems quickly, and share this knowledge with clients

The following would be a huge advantage:

• Proven experience working with MYOB accounting software
• Experience working with accounting package addons
• Payroll experience and legislation knowledge
• Experience working in Workflow Max
• Experience with consolidations and audit
