The Role
  • Report directly through to Finance Manager - Supply Chain
  • Integral support to the function
  • Provide key financial and data analysis

We now have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Finance Analyst – Central Supply Chain to join our dynamic and growing business.  Reporting to the Finance Manager – Central Supply Chain, you will be an integral player to support the function with a focus on whole of function management reporting, budgeting/forecasting and analysis. 

This role will support the business by providing key financial, accounting and business data analysis, advice and recommendations for central supply chain. Lead and coordinate the planning and budgeting preparation and develop various management reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.  

What will you do
  • Provide value adding business partnering to FPA and support manager in partnering Supply Chain leadership team.
  • Accountable for the provision of insightful, timely and accurate reporting for Central Supply Chain, with a focus on ensuring performance drivers are understood, business wide implications are clearly articulated, and gap measures are identified.
  • Support manager in the organisation of Supply Chain budgets, forecasts and long-range plans.
  • Provide oversight of the Supply Chain productivity governance program.
  • Drive governance & reporting on total stock write offs and inventory management.
  • Oversee end to end control of all costings, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all systems.
  • Development of best in class planning and reporting processes and procedures.  Ensure standardization across Supply Chain Finance
  • Support of and participation in OneSimplot projects as required.
  • Build internal relationships across the business to help facilitate information flow and decision making.
  • Comply with all legislative / statutory obligations and company policies, including preparation of sound balance sheet reconciliations, overseeing stock take programs and assisting with audits.
What will you bring
  • Associated Bachelor degree
  • Experience in Supply Chain within FMCG advantageous
  • Intermediate skills in the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated understanding of financial information systems, JDE/SAP preferred
  • Experience with end of month, budget / planning processes
  • Able to meet deadlines and influence others to meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail whilst seeing the big picture
  • Strong financial analysis and forecasting skills
  • Ability to understand and communicate complex issues
  • Strong reporting and presentation skills

To be successful in this role, you must have a growth mindset, a strong commercial focus with proven experience in developing budgets and monthly reporting and planning.  You will possess both strong communication and presentation skills, coupled with analytical methodologies you can apply.  

You will have a passion for excellence and be outcome orientated with a desire to drive improvements and streamline reports and processes where possible.  You will be inquisitive and enjoy interacting with the wider business by nature and operate well in a team environment.  A strong financial background and experience in financial planning and analysis would be viewed favourably.
