Based in historic Windsor in Sydney's North West, Wendy's Home Care has been delivering quality in-home care for more than 25 years .  We value our team and we need you to be part of our growing success.

Your responsibilities will include, although not limited to:

  • Calculate and process payroll for employees on a weekly basis accurately and to meet strict deadlines including extension of timesheets;
  • Assist the Finance Manager with all aspects of the running of the Finance Team, including, but not limited to: payroll month end, payroll tax, PAYG, superannuation contributions, and general ledger reconciliations;
  • Accounts payable, accounts receivable, and receipting duties; 
  • Workers Compensation wage calculations;
  • NDIS claiming and invoicing;
  • Aged Care packages – claiming subsidies, invoicing, and 3rd party payments;
  • Update and maintain employee records including leave entitlement records;
  • Respond to communication from internal and external customers in a timely, courteous and professional manner;
  • Maintain confidentiality of all payroll information at all times;

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years payroll / accounts experience within a high volume transaction environment

  • Relevant qualifications in payroll / finance

  • High level of proficiency in Excel. MYOB / EXO experience desirable

  • Outstanding degree of accuracy & attention to detail

  • Excellent understanding of finance and payroll functions, including superannuation and payroll tax laws and requirements

  • Sound knowledge of HR, Payroll and Leave practices, procedures and legislation

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Exceptional customer service and written / verbal communication skills.

You will need to enjoy the challenge of a fast paced payroll / accounts environment, and be able to contribute to our team professionally, whilst having a down to earth, can-do attitude.  Days of work are Monday to Thursday (8am to 4.30pm).
