The role:

Reporting to the Head of Finance Excellence you will work closely with a broad range of Finance stakeholders to support and guide them to specify, design, develop and adopt finance applications and enhancements that streamline and add value to our Finance processes.

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Lead the improvement and innovation of finance systems in alignment with our Strategy
  • Provision of finance system support and administration to end users to ensure that they use the systems in the most efficient way
  • Troubleshoot and manage the resolution of any issues arising from finance systems the team manages
  • Manage, audit, and govern change deployment processes across the business
  • Position yourself as a subject matter expert (SME) in relation to finance system design in discussions about system enhancements or other related initiatives
  • Development and maintenance of core training and knowledge sharing materials
  • Collaborate with the Group Applications team to ensure that the data integration and reporting design is well considered, aligned, and appropriately prioritised

 

  • Well-developed and demonstrated experience with developing corporate performance management systems such as Anaplan, Oracle EPM, SAP BPC, Adaptive Insights (SaaS products preferred)
  • Strong technology focused background in consulting / implementation partner organisations with experience managing systems in business-as-usual environments
  • Proficiency with database querying languages such as SQL with relational databases and MDX with OLAP multi-dimensional databases
  • Ability to work and achieve operational goals under the pressure of tight deadlines
  •  Impressive written/verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to manage and influence stakeholders
  • Impeccable attention to detail whilst staying focused and aligned to the bigger picture
