Senior Financial Accountant - Financial Services

This financial services group is expanding in the market to take advantage of its strong financial position. As a result they have created a new position for an Accountant in one of their key divisions. The culture is fast-paced, growth-orientated, and engaging, you will be surrounded by smart, motivated people and have the chance to enjoy a long term challenging career.

Based in a high performing team, you will be responsible for:

• Monthly management accounting 
• Assistance with board reporting
• Half and year end reporting and financial statements
• Monthly BAS/GST returns
• Various tax calculations and annual income tax returns
• Quarterly investor reporting
• Set up of new investment entities

You will be CA/CPA qualified, and have strong accounting skills gained either in a chartered firm (Big 4/2nd tier) or large commercial organisation. The ability to multi-task, communicate effectively with business leaders, solve problems, use your initiative and the capacity to learn are all key.
