Senior Financial Accountant / Short Term Contract - Immediate Start

The company

My client is an ASX listed business who have grown rapidly recently and are looking for a Senior Accountant to assist in teh short term They are an inclusive and forward-thinking business that are always looking to improve.

The role

Reporting to the Finance Manager you will have a wide breadth of responsibility across the entirety of the month-end process. You will be comfortable in all general accounting tasks such as reconciliations, prepayments, accruals, journal postings etc as well as statutory and tax reporting. Having experience reviewing payroll will be an advantage.

This role is a brand new role covering several accounting functions that will ideally transition to an extension or perm for the right candidate

About you

• CA/CPA qualified
• Minimum 3 years financial accounting experience
• Experience within top tier chartered environment highly desirable 
• Intermediate to advanced excel skills
• SAP experience highly desirable 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
