Senior Payroll Officer - Part-time, 3 days, CBD

people2people are partnering with a Professional Services firm who require the immediate assistance of a Senior Payroll Officer to take ownership of payroll for one of the entities. You will be joining a dynamic and progressive company with a great culture, office and team. The role is a part-time, 4+ month temp assignment, based in CBD. 

The Role 
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the responsibilities of the role will include; 
  • Timely and accurate payroll processing on a fortnightly (approx. 300 employees) and monthly basis
  •  Interpretation of Awards and EA's 
  • Ensure compliance within corporate guidelines, legislation and taxation 
  • Payroll reporting and auditing 
  •  Providing a high-quality customer service 
About You 
The successful candidate will have/be; 
  • A strong understanding of payroll legislation 
  • End to end payroll experience 
  • Ability to interpret multiple Award's and EA's
  • Strong systems experience 
  • A positive and professional team player
  • Ability to commence at short-notice
