people2people are partnering with a Professional Services firm who require the immediate assistance of a Senior Payroll Officer to take ownership of payroll for one of the entities. You will be joining a dynamic and progressive company with a great culture, office and team. The role is a part-time, 4+ month temp assignment, based in CBD.
The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the responsibilities of the role will include;
- Timely and accurate payroll processing on a fortnightly (approx. 300 employees) and monthly basis
- Interpretation of Awards and EA's
- Ensure compliance within corporate guidelines, legislation and taxation
- Payroll reporting and auditing
- Providing a high-quality customer service
About You
The successful candidate will have/be;
- A strong understanding of payroll legislation
- End to end payroll experience
- Ability to interpret multiple Award's and EA's
- Strong systems experience
- A positive and professional team player
- Ability to commence at short-notice
