An exciting opportunity has arisen for a confident and experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join a well known global organisation.   Based in the CBD they are looking for someone who aligns with their values of teamwork and excellence.   This is a permanent opportunity that will give you training and support to learn, grow and develop for Payroll abilities.
 
About the Role
This company has over 1000 employees and you will be required to process the end-to-end payroll for up to 500 employees on a fortnightly basis.  Reporting to the Payroll Manager your duties will be:

  • Full function end to end processing of Payroll
  • Preparation of payroll tax, workers compensation, annual returns, superannuation reconciliation and payments
  • Preparation of month end reports including headcount and reporting for finance and audit purposes.
  • Maintaining leave, sickness and overtime reports.
  • Payroll reporting to meet internal and statutory obligations.
  • Calculation and processing of termination payments.
  • Processing increases and calculation of back pays.
  • Assisting Payroll Manager with month end consolidation.
  • Assisting Payroll Manager with reconciliation and payment of payroll and group tax.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service.

What you will bring to the role
To be considered for this position you will need to have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a payroll position as well as experience using a large payroll system preferably Chris21. You will need to have good attention to detail, excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a team environment.
