About the Role

The Asset and Geospatial Branch leads the implementation of integrated technical data solutions and the delivery, capture and management of corporate road asset data, spatial information and essential transport models.

The Senior Spatial Analyst (GIS) is responsible for the sourcing, currency and implementation of externally sourced data for use in Main Roads’ business systems and the provision of specialist advice for the development and implementation of the road map for GIS in Main Roads.

About You

The successful applicant will have need to have substantial experience in managing Enterprise GIS data, analysis, services and technologies with the ability to manage the development and ongoing support of cloud-based and mobile GIS applications. 

As Main Roads is focussed on building strong partnerships across the organisation, you will also need to demonstrate your ability to build effective working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders, as well as the effective communication and marketing of GIS capabilities using both on premise and cloud based GIS environments.
