We are wanting to employ a highly skilled and capable Software Developer for our small company. It is essential that applicants can demonstrate a high level of expertise in:

• C# programming, preferably in multi threading applications
• .Net on Windows applications
• a detailed knowledge of SQL, preferably in a mySQL environment. 

The main development and operational environment is Microsoft. Some Unix servers are used as communications front ends and a working knowledge of UNIX would be an advantage but not essential.  Some legacy applications are in VB and these are being migrated to C#.  While the position is mainly doing software development you will gain experience in a very broad range of IT activities.

Excellent oral and written English skills are essential.  You must be an Australian citizen.

WebTech Services Pty Limited is a small company working in the wagering industry.  Our operation runs unattended 24/7 interfacing with various agencies around the world.  Typically our applications link to betting agencies via API connections or html.  It is an exciting industry and technologically advanced.

We are located in Mitchell, ACT so having your own transport is almost essential.

Pay and Conditions

The working environment is flexible.   You will need to be a self-starter who requires little supervision.  While we are looking for a full-time person, we are prepared to consider someone seeking less hours. 

An attractive pay will be negotiated for the right person. We are expecting to appoint someone who enjoy working with us for many years.
