Our boutique firm is looking for a full time accountant to join the team. 

Situated in Tewantin, we have a good client base and a plan for growth. .  Our firm plans also include moving to cloud based practice management and you would be included in this change.

Your duties include the preparation of financial statements and resulting tax returns for all entity types including SMSF, progressing into tax planning and strategy, business advice and all facets of public practice. You will also assist in the mentoring of graduate accountant/s.

We require an applicant with at least 2 years in public practice experience.  You must have a GOOD knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office programs.  Experience with Handisoft, MYOB, Xero, Reckon and Quickbooks, BGL and BGL30 are all considered an advantage.   An eye for detail is a must while not losing sight of the big picture.  You will not be micro-managed and so you must be able to prioritise workload, work well under pressure and be able to meet deadlines as they occur, whilst being able to report to the boss on workload progress.
