This is a full time position with an immediate start.

Salary depends on experience and training will be provided to the right candidate.

1-2 years minimum of professional accounting experience preferred

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience

Preferably have commenced your CPA/CA but not essential.

Position Responsibilities include:

Prepare and complete income tax returns including SMSF, company, trust and individual tax returns.

Prepare and Review financial statements, income tax returns and consulting matters with principal, and other team members

Prepare and complete capital gains schedule for investment properties and shares and cryptocurrency.

Prepare borrowing costs, amortisation and assets register schedule for financial statements.

Prepare and complete business and instalment activity statements, fuel tax credit and FBT returns.

Prepare and complete financial statements including accounts & GST reconciliation, Integrated Client Account analysis and tax position summary.

General bookkeeping work for clients, including payroll preparation, superannuation lodgement, enter sales and purchase invoices, bank payments and transfers, and reconciliation of transactions using Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks and other software.

Able Respond to client’s emails and calls.

Liaise with Australian Taxation Office and State Revenue Office via phone and ATO Portal on behalf of managers and clients, including payment arrangements, GIC remission and penalties, as well as general enquiries.

Prepare ASIC documents and compliance.

Provide financial statements and tax returns to bank managers and mortgage brokers on behalf of clients for loan applications.

Meeting clients for tax return & BAS reviews, including training of Various software and other related queries.
