Tax - Senior Accountant

Located close to the Perth Foothills our clients are a small boutique tax Accounting practice with 5 members of staff and due to growth the Director is now looking to add to their already successful team.

This vacancy is for an senior Accountant who has excellent experience of taxation (Companies, Trusts and Partnerships) as well as some SMSF knowledge but not essential.

The successful candidate will be required to work unsupervised on the higher end clients such as Doctors, Larger companies etc but no client contact is required.

To apply for this vacancy you will need to be degree qualified and have 6 or more years experience as an Accountant within public practice Accounting in Australia, Ideally CPA or CA qualified but not essential, Have excellent communication skills and be able to complete work unsupervised.

Along with the above you will need to have a firm understanding of tax planning and group tax planning and accounting

All systems are cloud based we use: Xero Ledger, Xero Tax, Xero Practice Manager, BGL360, HowNow Smart Workpapers, FYI Docs and NowInfinity. 95% of clients are using Xero Business Editions.

In return you will receive if successful an above average salary (Negotiable) + super, Flexible working hours (school drop offs etc) if needed, The choice of full or part time hours (3/4 days per week if part time), Please note that during busy periods you will be required to work full time hours, Open plan office in a lovely tranquil environment.
