Tax/Business Services Manager
A growth opportunity has emerged for a CA/CPA qualified individual seeking a leadership role with a growing Cairns Region based firm.
This role will be focused on working with our team and clients in our Mareeba and Atherton offices.
For the right candidate, the role will work from our office located in Cairns, and will require occasional travel to our Mareeba and Atherton locations to meet with clients and the team in person.

All branches have direct communications and computer links and you will be exposed to regular staff training programs which will equip you to convey to clients the latest Superannuation, Taxation and Commercial strategies.
Your new role has an emphasis on superannuation, tax structuring, and oversight of a range of individual and small business tax affairs, this high profile role will have the successful candidate working closely on a core set of clients, with interaction with other entities in the firm's broader group locally and interstate.
The role will suit an individual seeking to leverage their skills and the firm's existing scale and technical skill in an outward facing role, whilst taking responsibility for working closely with the team, and clients to deliver their core service offering. The role will suit someone who can juggle both the operational responsibilities of managing a team, but is keen to exercise latitude to make this opportunity ‘their own’. The firm is capable of scaling substantially, with deep financial backing and expertise in the area.
What you’ll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have relevant technical experience, outstanding communication skills, be ambitious in nature with developed practice oversight skills. You might already be running a small team, or your own practice, and looking to scale up. The team you'll be working with are expert, with strong client relationships, and you'll be supported within a broader group with like-minded professionals who are also keen to grow their business in adjunct practice lines.
