Ko tā mātou mahi | Our Role

As part of our exciting growth we are now looking to welcome a Team Leader Information Analyst to lead the team that delivers Kāinga Ora's Machinery of Government information request accountabilities including parliamentary questions, select committee reviews, Official Information Act requests and other questions from external parties.

Some of your main areas of focus in this highly influential role will include:

  • Supporting the development of modelling and analytical tools and datasets to support creation and delivery of insights and foresights to the business
  • Influence and monitor the quality and uniformity of reporting produced
  • Ensure appropriate consultation with stakeholders during development of responses
  • Maintain good collaboration with key stakeholders, internal customers and delivery units
  • Proactively monitor trends in data requests and work with Business Intelligence team to develop datasets to support effective delivery of requests.

  • Strong leadership skills and a positive and supportive manner
  • The ability to identify, collect, organise and analyse complex data to provide information and enable decision-making
  • Commitment to fostering good stakeholder relationships through consultation and partnership
  • The ability to earn trust and respect through behaving in a professional manner and using discretion
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Interest in public sector structure, governance, processes and systems
